What is reality?

What is reality, truth, unknown or mysterious? There are many words to express that which is not known, clear or understood. The quest has been there from the time immortal. Humans from all ages and all walks have tried to find it through science, arts, spirituality, religion etc.  But it seems despite all the advancement we know very little about the world or universe. This brings very important question : How much do we know about ourselves? Answer seems to be very little. We have made some advances in understanding how our body works but we know very little about the way our mind works. The world for all of us is the picture painted by our mind. So it seems the key to the unknown is through knowing the workings of our own mind, of ourselves. The process of investigation is mediation. When one starts to investigate oneself things become very interesting.  Who is investigating? Who is being investigated? Duality becomes very obvious from the beginning. Am I two or one? It is this process which reveals some truth about ourselves and maybe about the world. It is these moments of not doing anything, somehow bring some sense of harmony in our lives. This blog is an attempt to understand, reveal, investigate and share the quest of knowing the unknown.

  1. Thanks for creating a platform for sharing the quest of truth. Couple of observations & questions

    1. Is it really duality or even multiple layers that co-exist. Have attempted to expand on this thought with a separate post.

    2. I have found it extremely useful to question the validity of experiences so that our own pursuits of a particular form of reality does not hinder the visibility of the actual reality. This also creates protection against hallucination.

For example, while attempting to explore the sixth sense, we must be comfortable and alive with the idea that there could be no duality at all, or no existence beyond the time-space-sense bound reality that we experience.
